This is a short film produced for UNICEF to hightlight the importance of education for children in the Third World Countries. I came with up with the concept and designed the characters. I supervised the script, storyboard, layouts and final production. This film won a Gold award in the educational category in the Animation Festival in Los Angeles.  | This is an experimental short film. I had an optical camera at my disposal and lots of blue pencils. Inspired on a fantasy comic book story I was reading at that time, I started sketching various frames using a blue colour pencils.I then shot each frame with various dissolves using the optical camera. With no idea what the final the result will be, I worked on this project for three weeks. When I finally previewed the print, it was exhilarating. Click on the image to view animation. |
