Subra Krishnasamy is an illustrator, a graphic designer and animator.
As an illustrator, Subra has an unique style inspired by Indian textile art and folk painting. Trained as a graphic designer, he has produced various graphic designs and promotions. His love for moving images lead him into the world of animation. Subra has directed and produced various award-wining commercials, station idents and short films.
Born in Singapore, he studied Advertising Art and Photography and has vast experience in graphic design and animation with clients in advertising and broadcasting.
Among his achievements, Subra has won numerous gold awards working on Idents and promos for Cartoon Network Asia in Hong Kong and Gold Award for his short film (on children education) for UNICEF call "The Stone Crusher" in the Animation Celebrations in Los Angeles.
He has been invited to be the jury panel for Animatu Festival in Portugal and has been invited to speak in Hiroshima Festival (Japan) and Animation Fiesta (Singapore).
Subra various projects include illustrations, animated commercials, web designs, storyboards and concept development.
